Local authors in the Buffalo region gathered Nov. 15 for the 2025 Indie Authors Book Fair organized by the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library. I shared a table with Tom Geelan, author of the riveting historical novel Infection and Perdition, a tale of murder and madness in mid-1800s Buffalo where immigrants were flocking to work on the new Erie Canal.
